KIDS FOR JESUS ACADEMY(KFJA) believes and teaches the word of GOD(THE HOLY BIBLE). Scriptures teaches us in Proverb 22:6 to train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. We are to teach children to seek GOD'S wisdom and his will for their talents and abilities. And to use those GOD given talents and abilities to serve others.

We believe when children are taught the word of GOD, the love of GOD, and who they are in Christ Jesus, then they can love and respect GOD, themselves and others.

Our goal is to offer our students educational experiences through a Researched Based Early Learning Curriculum that will initiate student's creativity through STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) that will ensure their kindergarten readiness. By teaching the Fruit of the Spirit Techniques to build great character, manners, and integrity.

KFJA will provide a safe, loving atmosphere for our students where they can play, learn, grow and reach their developmental milestones.

Health & Safety

Your child's health and safety are our top priorities at Kids for Jesus Academy.
We maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and our facilities are equipped with
state-of-the-art security systems to ensure your child's well-being. Our staff are trained in CPR and First Aid, Community Disease Awareness and participate in Professional Developmental trainings. We have protocols in place for emergency situations. You can trust us to provide the highest level of care for your child.

Meet the Owner

Ms. Lonnita Cheatham

Ms. Cheatham has been in the childcare service industry for 14 years.

In 2010 the LORD instructed Ms. Cheatham to not work in the Dentistry Career that she was pursuing, but instead she is to minister the word of GOD to children and their families. To ensure that they learn to love and reverence the LORD. That they may know who Jesus Christ is. Learn of the love that Jesus has toward them, so that they may gain insight on who they are in Christ through operating in their gifts and talents to be of service to others.
